Do beauty devices require a professional, or can they be used at home?
Most of our at‑home beauty devices are easy to use, follow the manual and no professional help is needed; if you have skin conditions or are receiving aesthetic treatments, consult a doctor or therapist first.
Can I bring a beauty device on a plane?
Most are small personal electronics and can go in carry‑on baggage, but check your airline’s rules in advance.
Can I use a beauty device every day?
Frequency depends on the device and your skin; as a start, use it 2–4 times per week and adjust based on the manual and your skin’s response.
Is there an age limit for beauty devices?
Generally recommended for ages 18 and above.
Can I use a beauty device during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Not recommended, especially for RF or microcurrent devices, to avoid potential risks.
Are beauty devices suitable for sensitive skin?
Use with caution: start with short sessions at low intensity and pair with gentle skincare; stop immediately if redness or irritation occurs.
Can I apply makeup right after using a beauty device?
Yes. Apply hydrating and soothing products first and wait for skin to settle before makeup to avoid extra irritation.
Are beauty devices waterproof?
Most are not waterproof; do not use them in the bathroom or shower to avoid short circuits.
Do beauty devices need regular charging? How long does a full charge last?
They usually have built‑in rechargeable batteries; a full charge lasts about 2 hours (varies by model). Charge as needed based on battery prompts and usage.
How should I clean a beauty device?
Gently wipe the head with a soft cloth or cotton pad after use; avoid alcohol or corrosive cleaners; see the manual for care.
Can I use it with creams or serums?
Some devices can be paired with skincare or serums, check each product’s instructions; use water‑based products only. Do not use oily or scrub‑type products, which may damage the device or irritate skin.
What should I watch out for when using a beauty device?
Remove metal accessories first (glasses, earrings, necklaces, watches, rings). Do not use if you have implanted metal from surgery (e.g., bypass, bone pins). Avoid inflamed acne areas, wounds, and sensitive spots like the eyeballs, lips, and vocal cords; remove contact lenses, or if not possible, avoid the eye area and shorten use time. Braces can be sensitive, avoid the mouth area. Do not stay on one spot for too long.
Can I bring a hair dryer on a plane?
Small hair dryers can go in checked or carry‑on baggage, but check airline rules first as some have high wattage.
Do I need a plug adapter for a hair dryer?
When abroad, check voltage and plug type to decide if you need an adapter or converter; some travel dryers support dual/global voltage, see the specs.
Can I use a hair dryer on wet hair?
Yes, but towel‑dry first to remove excess water; this shortens drying time and reduces heat damage.
What’s the difference between an ionic dryer and a regular dryer?
Ionic dryers release negative ions to help seal the cuticle and reduce static, leaving hair smoother and shinier.
Do I need to clean a hair dryer’s filter?
Yes. Dust and hair can build up, reducing airflow and causing overheating. Clean it every 1–2 months.
Can children use a hair dryer?
Yes, with adult supervision; keep the temperature moderate and at a safe distance to avoid burns.
Can I use a hair dryer in the bathroom?
Not recommended in wet environments due to electric shock risk.
Should I store the hair dryer right after switching it off?
Let it cool first, then store it in a dry place to protect the cord.
Can I use it directly with hotel outlets when traveling?
Yes, if the voltage matches; avoid using multiple high‑watt devices at once to prevent tripping the breaker.
Do I need a concentrator nozzle for styling?
A nozzle focuses airflow for more precise styling; for quick drying, you can use it without a nozzle.
